Refunds and Cancellation
Cancel any time. If it did not do what we said, you get your money back.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Billing in your account, or by emailing us. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee, and nobody to talk to first.
Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for — the rest of the month on a monthly plan, the rest of the year on a yearly one. We do not charge again after that.
Monthly and yearly
You can pay monthly or yearly. A yearly plan is ten months' price for twelve months, charged once, up front, and it renews for another year at the end unless you cancel first. We email you about a week before a yearly renewal so it is never a surprise on your statement.
Moving to a bigger plan happens straight away, and the unused part of what you have already paid comes off the new price. Moving to a smaller plan, or from yearly to monthly, happens when the period you have paid for ends — you keep what you paid for until then, and your quote allowance starts fresh on the new plan.
Your free trial
The trial is free and requires no card. If you never subscribe, you are never charged.
Refunds
If the service did not work as described, you are entitled to a refund. That is your right under the Australian Consumer Law and nothing here limits it.
Beyond that, our own policy, and it is the same whether you pay monthly or yearly:
- Within 14 days of your first payment — full refund, for any reason or none, from the Billing page or by asking. Once per account.
- Within 14 days of a renewal charge — full refund of that charge, for any reason or none, from the Billing page or by asking. This is the one that matters on a yearly plan: if the year renewed and you did not mean it to, you have two weeks to undo it in full.
- Charged after cancelling — full refund of that charge, whenever you notice it.
- An outage or fault that stopped you quoting for more than a day — a pro-rata refund for the affected period.
- The unused part of a period otherwise — we do not routinely refund the rest of a month, or the rest of a year, after those 14 days. Your plan runs to the end of what you paid for instead. But ask us: circumstances differ and we would rather sort it out than argue.
A refund taken from the Billing page cancels the subscription at the same time. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days.
If a payment fails
Nothing stops on the day. We tell you, and keep telling you, and quoting carries on for three weeks while you sort the card. After three weeks without a payment, new quotes stop until it is fixed; nothing you have already done is touched.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the service remedied if it is not of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.
Nothing in this policy or our Terms of Service reduces those rights.
How to ask
Email info@quotebot.online with the email address on your account. You do not need to explain yourself, and we will not put you through a retention process.
